⁣an easy-to-use & innovative payment solution

  • K&H SoftPOS is an innovative Android-based mobile app that, once downloaded on a smartphone or tablet, allows the device to function as a payment terminal, so that you can offer your customers the option of electronic payment in your shop or off-site, for example at a fair or upon home delivery
  • it complies with Hungarian law as well as the requirements of the international card companies, and your customers can use Near Field Communication (NFC) to make contactless payments with their bank cards, mobile wallets or NFC wearable payment devices (e.g. smartwatches).
  • there is no need for a conventional, physical POS terminal device to handle contactless cashless payment transactions with MasterCard or Visa bank cards
  • enter the amount payable for the goods or services in the app installed on your smartphone and request your customer to touch their bank card to the back of your phone to make the payment, which will be executed instantly
  • eco-friendly: you can forward the transaction receipt by text message, e-mail or via QR code sharing or, if your customer requests a printout, you can print the receipt via Bluetooth,
  • you will need to download two mobile applications from the Google Play Store to your NFC-enabled smartphone with Android OS (version 9.0 or above required) and use these together: 1. K&H SoftPOS payment and 2. K&H SoftPOS background mobile apps

⁣how does it work?

  • you will need to take the following two important steps to convert your smartphone or tablet into a payment terminal:
  1. you will need to sign a payment card acceptance agreement with K&H Pénzforgalmi Szolgáltató Kft
  2. then you will need to download and activate both the K&H SoftPOS and the K&H SoftPOS background mobile apps
  • the SoftPOS application can be used for initiating two types of transactions: purchases and the reversal of the last transaction
  • only contactless-enabled Mastercard and Visa bank cards are accepted; these may be in the form of the actual bank card, the mobile wallet or even other NFC wearable payment devices (e.g. smartwatches). Please note that the acceptance of Széchenyi Recreation Cards (SZÉP cards) and health fund cards is currently not supported!
  • the receipts of successful purchases and reversal transactions can be shared with the customer by text message, e-mail or via QR code sharing or, if your customer requests a printout, it may be printed via Bluetooth
  • the app also allows viewing and filtering the completed transaction as well as resending the receipt
